Janiah Barker
Janiah Barker is a junior forward for the UCLA Bruins, born on November 8, 2003, in Marietta, Georgia. She began her high school career at Tampa Bay Technical High School, winning a state title as a freshman, and later transferred to Montverde Academy, averaging 17.6 points and 8.9 rebounds, leading to a national championship.
Ranked No. 3 in the 2022 class by ESPN, she committed to Texas A&M, where she led her team as a freshman and earned SEC All-Freshman Team honors. After transferring to UCLA in 2024, she continues to perform well. Barker has also represented the U.S. internationally, winning gold at the 2019 FIBA U16 Americas Championship and 2021 FIBA 3x3 U18 World Cup, along with a silver medal at the 2023 FIBA Women's AmeriCup.
